A Hobby Turned Business
I started woodworking in my garage in Canal Winchester, Ohio in 2020 as a way to stay busy during the pandemic. I began designing and creating products for myself and others, including a desk, bookshelf, bed, and picture frames. I have a background in engineering, so I was able to apply this to my hobby. As my passion for woodworking continued to grow, I decided to turn my hobby into a business. The goal is to create quality, handcrafted products at affordable prices for people to enjoy in their homes. The pieces are able to be customized, so customers can find the perfect product for themselves or others. My attention to detail dates back to my Freshman year in high school where I made an end table in wood shop class. I was so proud of the work I did, I made my Dad stop to show my Grandpa on the way home. When I brought Grandpa out to see the amazing piece of furniture, he said “I want you to ride your bike here everyday this summer so we can fix this thing right”. BTW my parents still have that end table from 35 years ago.
